The Shih Tzu is one of the world’s oldest dog breeds, originating in China perhaps as far back at the 6th century A.D. Much prized by the ancient Chinese royalty, they also make good family pets today. They are very sociable and interactive, love to be held or petted and played with and are, in general, irresistible.
